The Bronson Centre is a registered not-for-profit charitable corporation. Located in the heart of Ottawa at 211 Bronson Avenue (at Lisgar), the Bronson Centre serves Ottawa through two important roles.
* Affordable, permanent and centrally located office space to non-profit community organizations with limited resources. Our tenant agencies provide a range of vital services to people with a variety of cultural, educational, emotional, physical and spiritual needs.
* High quality, affordable rental space for theatre, conferences, meetings and receptions — for single events (such as music concerts, theatre events), and for regularly scheduled meetings, courses and activities (such as dance classes, reunions, monthly association meetings, weekly physical activity courses, language classes).
Our facilities, which are comprised of both large and small spaces, include:
Bronson Centre Theatre:
A 850 seat, wheelchair-accessible theatre, equipped to meet the needs of community arts groups and concert artists and large conferences. The newly renovated space now offers a professional green room (with private washrooms) as well as removable seating — making the Bronson Centre Theatre one of the most adaptable venues in Ottawa.
Accommodating up to 200 people, this versatile hall features both kitchen facilities and a stage, making it ideal for larger workshops, craft shows, celebrations, banquets and dinners.
A variety of suites perfect for board meetings, seminars, training, rehearsals, smaller celebrations and meetings.
Permanent space reserved for non-profit community-based organizations with limited resources.
With plenty of on-street parking in the area, and on a major bus route, the Bronson Centre is one of the best venues for entertainment and meetings in Ottawa.
Founded by the Grey Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, the former Immaculata High School now houses over 30 non-profits and charities!
